I was initially drawn to this drama by its title, and when I clicked on the first episode, I recognized the lead actress, Lu Yanqi. After watching a few episodes, I deeply felt that Lu is well-suited for this role. She vividly portrays the image of a weak and helpless woman who suffers from domestic violence by her husband.
It's a story of a desperate housewife who fights back and seeks revenge against her abusive husband. At the same time, it also serves as a warning to us about the importance of choosing the right life partner when getting married.
May all girls find someone who genuinely loves and cares for them.
As someone who just finished taking wedding photos yesterday, watching dramas of this kind evokes indescribable emotions in me. Seeing the scene where Ran Shu is brutally whipped by her husband with a belt made me wonder if I would ever encounter such a situation with my own husband in the future.
If it really happened, what would I do? Ran Shu made her own choice and, with her cleverness and strategic thinking, successfully freed herself from her husband. But how many of us can do what she did? To all my sisters out there, marriage is not easy, so cherish it every step of the way.
Especially for those men who may engage in pickup artist behavior or domestic violence, I hope you can also watch this drama!
So what does it mean when they brought out that envelope in the ending? Is it a clue? A deadly letter? Or is this drama actually a book written by the second male lead? That's why the female lead ends up being like the heroine in his book?
At the beginning of Episode 24, when the first male lead asks, "What else do you want to ask?" it suggests that he's at least talking to someone, but then the camera shifts and there's no one there.
Could it be imagined by the second male lead, or perhaps everything is driven by him, and once this story is over, he can find another person and start a new story? I didn't quite grasp the ending, there are some aspects that I didn't understand.
