After several underwater explorations, Hu Ba Yi roughly determined the location of the sunken shipcarrying the "Qin Emperor's Bone Mirror." However, at that moment, with the full moon, the underwater ghostly fire reignited, and the entrance to the Underwater Ruins opened, sucking them into thepeculiar Underwater Ruins Cave.
The Underwater Ruins were like a miraculous "sea within the sea," isolating the upper seawater like a giant transparent bubble. Although they managed to survive, they had no idea how to retuto the surface. In despair, they discovered a giant Sun-Shooting Lever left by the Hentian Kingdom. Hu Ba Yi and Shirley Yang decided to use the lever mechanism to make a desperate attempt to escape the Underwater Ruins and retuto Coral Temple Island.

Duo Ling's father is the captain of the Mary Celeste (or was it the Trident? I can't remember). Ruan Hei found Duo Ling by the seaside, and at that time, Duo Ling was dressed exceptionally well. Ruan Hei decided to adopt Duo Ling and help her find her family.
That's why he needs a tremendous amount of money to send Duo Ling away. He believes that Duo Ling shouldn't suffer with him. Gu Cai was also found, but he is an orphan and a descendant of the Hatian Kingdom (neither Gu Cai nor Ruan Hei know this).
Ruan Hei thought he was just a fisherman's child. Ruan Hei, a wandering soul, raised both children and did his best. Please don't criticize Ruan Hei. He just struggles with expressing himself, and he's about to go offline soon.
When the next episode comes out, they should overcome the big waves. It would be best if they get their hair and clothes wet. In this episode, the waves were so big, but their hair didn't get wet, and their clothes remained dry!
Are they kidding us? Even if it's special effects, they should do a better job.
I'm just asking you to watch a TV drama, not solve a case. Why bother nitpicking about the details? Are you always so attentive in your daily life matters?

Nan Hai Gui Xu" has a thrilling and captivating storyline. It's a masterpiece that should not be missed. This TV drama is not only filled with exciting action scenes but also encompasses mysterious ancient technology and civilization, leaving viewers mesmerized.
The show also explores profound themes such as human nature, the meaning of life, and the value of freedom.
1. Candle in the Tomb: After Hu Bayi retires from the military, he visits the Xinjiang Desert and becomes cursed, developing a red eye-shaped mark on his right shoulder.
2. Candle in the Tomb: The Lost Caverns: To lift the curse, the trio goes to Shaanxi and investigates Li Chunfeng's tomb beneath the Fishbone Temple for clues about the Mu Chen Pearl.
3. Candle in the Tomb: The Worm Valley: Guided by Chen Xiazi, they travel to Yunnan and explore the tomb of the Xian King to find the Mu Chen Pearl.
4. Candle in the Tomb: Kunlun Tomb: After returning from Yunnan, they must visit the demonic realm in Tibet, ultimately succeeding in breaking the curse.
Flashback 1: (After the curse is lifted, they plan to go to the United States, and a flashback of their youth as educated youth is shown with old photographs in "Candle in the Tomb: The Weasel Grave.")
5. Candle in the Tomb: South Sea Tomb: Invited by Professor Chen, they go to the South China Sea to salvage the Qin Emperor's Bone Mirror.
Flashback 2: (After salvaging the Qin Emperor's Bone Mirror, they return to Beijing and Chen Xiazi tells the story of their youth in "Candle in the Tomb: The Wrath of Time.")
6. Candle in the Tomb: Raiders of the Wu Gorge: During the salvage operation for the Qin Emperor's Bone Mirror, a woman named Duo Lin is injured.
To save her, they must obtain the Golden Elixir. Following Professor Sun's arrangement, they travel to the Wu Gorge in Sichuan and successfully break into the Celestial Immortal's Tomb. However, they fail to save the woman.
In the final chapters, the author extensively connects all eight works, depicting the relationships between characters and resolving various plotlines, including Zhang Sanlian's disciple and the origin of the Vajra Umbrella, providing a satisfying conclusion.

The episode was so short, and there are so few episodes overall. It's not enough to watch. Can someone who's familiar with the original source please tell me if this season is the final one?
Is there nothing more to come afterwards?
This drama is really speechless. Hu Ba Yi has gone through so many adventures, but in this one, he didn't do anything. He constantly slowed things down, wasted time, and couldn't even establish proper communication methods underwater.
All it took was a pull of a lever for the spherical submarine to work, but they dragged it out unnecessarily. And why did they let the fish destroy the submarine?
Even if the glass cracked, they could have broken it with their hands or feet, but no, they didn't even use a tool! And what about that "Sea God" character?
Not only did he not need oxygen, but he also blew air underwater. Despite being so powerful, he only followed the protagonist to the seabed to get pearls!
Every time they go into the tomb, they bring guns and bullets. Why? Are they really fighting monsters? The bullets never penetrate, but a knife can cut through?
Every time it's just radiation mutation? Can't we have something fresh? In Ba Chang's novels, there's always a scientific explanation for the origins of these creatures.
In the TV drama, besides radiation mutation, there's nothing else. I've never seen things like Black Donkey Hoof or Nuomi Luoyang Shovel, and they never explain Hu Ba Yi's ancestor, Hu Guohua. Hu Guohua had such a spectacular opening!
Why did Hu Ba Yi, for no apparent reason, start tomb-robbing after retiring from the military for the sake of his brother's widow?
They briefly mentioned the sixteen-character Yin-Yang Feng Shui secret technique? Apart from the character designs and set decorations, everything else feels like playing an online game, going through levels and fighting bosses.
The final part could have been made into an adventure genre. Without tombs and coffins, where would the grave-robbing come from? Why couldn't it be filmed? The Iron Triangle could have stayed in Qingwu Ancient Town in the Wushan Gorge, passed through the anti-aircraft tunnels, walked on the cliff bird paths, crossed the Invisible Fairy Bridge, entered the Gate of the Divine Brush Paintings, explored historical relics, obtained the antidote, experienced mountain collapses and ground splits, drilled through tunnels, and escaped to safety.
If there were no feudal superstitions and taboos, it could have been aired. Why stubbornly confront those things that are not allowed to be broadcast? Change the approach, and everything will be resolved effortlessly.
Many small details were changed in a somewhat inexplicable way. The master's death in the original work was truly accidental, but here it was directly pinned on the chubby guy, without him even offering an apology, making him seem heartless.
Although the chubby guy in the original work was also someone who couldn't keep his hands still, he was still clear-headed in critical moments. But the changes here make him seem like a greedy fool.
Furthermore, it was actually the chubby guy who gave the watch to Duo Ling, whereas in the original work, nobody knew that a watch could be used for a curse. This blame was instead placed on Duo Ling, perhaps because the screenwriter thought it would make it more emotionally touching.
However, this also reflects the difference between the author and the screenwriter. Even a slight change completely alters the character setup.
Da Li, you're just all talk. The fatty will never fall into your hands because you can't beat him! Your so-called special ability is useless. Why do I feel like the mermaid you saw in the water looks exactly like this Da Li in the yellow clothes?
Especially the face, it's identical, haha. Moreover, I feel that this mermaid and the one underwater are different. Their fins are different, and this one has more vibrant colors.
Da Li must be sweating buckets while dealing with this mermaid, Qin Wang. Is Da Li feeling like he's about to wet his pants? Or maybe he already wet them? Being so close to that thing for the first time, sweating profusely and almost losing control of his legs.
These two mermaids are probably not mating, but rather throwing a tantrum. The mermaid that just came ashore says, "Aren't those people on the shore?" Where are they?
I've looked everywhere. Mermaid B says, "I clearly saw those people on the shore. Did you even bother to look around? Those people destroyed our home! I'm going to make them pay a hefty sum of money in compensation." Da Li gets startled by the fatty.
Da Li says, "Hey, what are you doing? Do you know that scaring people can kill them? My pants were already wet, and now they're wet again." The fatty says, "Well, I have red underwear.
Do you want it?
Shirley Yang looked at the painting on the bronze tripod. Underneath the wood, there was a large expanse of coral, and there seemed to be something inside. The bronze tripod also depicted some kind of animal that resembled a mermaid.
Gu Cai discovered a mermaid in the coral cave, seemingly asleep, with a human body and a fish tail.
Lao Hu's intention was not to disturb it, but this fatty was filled with curiosity and couldn't help but touch it.
Every time it was this fatty who accidentally triggered something, or his impulsive actions caused a disaster. They say that one learns from one's mistakes, but this fatty seems to be constantly seeking death.
Just moments ago, the mermaid suddenly opened its eyes! It really startled me! The fatty has caused a big problem. Underwater, this mermaid is simply invincible.
Lao Hu: Fatty, you've stirred up a hornet's nest.
Each coral cave in this underwater world is inhabited by one or two mermaids. There are at least fifty or more of them here.
Damn it, Gu Cai is so fierce! He directly killed one with his knife, and the mermaid's blood is actually green.
I always thought it was blue. If it were me, I would retreat now because in the water, you are no match for them. Previously, the Heavenly Kingdom used humans as bait to lure them onto the shore because their attacking power weakens a bit on land.
This episode is Gu Cai's shining moment, he's going all out!
One by one, he's clearly overpowering the mermaids, but believe me, we'll soon be at a disadvantage. These are just the lowest-level mermaids.
There are even stronger ones coming up. Otherwise, they would be too weak.
The romance in this drama feels like it's stretched out for the sake of filling time. Although it serves as a buildup to the final monologue of Old Hu in the water, personally, I feel it's a bit excessive.
Perhaps it's because it's difficult to achieve good special effects in the water, and the actors either have tightly tied hair or wear helmets. However, the monster design is decent.
But in the first few episodes, the bright and glossy background on the sea surface really looks like it's shot for an advertisement.
When Old Hu fell into the water and started reminiscing about the previous seasons, I almost thought that this series would conclude in the South China Sea. However, in the end, they still have to go in search of medicine, so it seems there's still a possibility for Wu Xia.
A bit disappointed. The plot feels forced. The chubby guy isn't someone who lacks understanding. The sudden confrontation with A Hao over the pearls felt out of place. And of course, later on, they introduce the storyline of the bottom warehouse, A Hao dies, and they inexplicably end up robbing a bag in the Ghost Market.
Then the bag falls into the water, the master gets bitten and dies. The whole storyline about the family heirloom that protects against sharks feels pointless. Old Hu holds on, waiting for the rope, while the two of them lie there shouting, not throwing the rope.
It doesn't align with their character development. It feels like they're just setting up the plot for later.
The scene where they stuffed socks into the person who wanted to harm Hu Ba Yi was so fake. They tied him up, but the gag was useless. Do they think the audience is foolish?
Ming Shu brought those two people who weren't good from the beginning. They wanted to monopolize the treasure and were willing to endanger others. It's unrealistic and ridiculous that they showed mercy to such people.
In real life, we've seen countless incidents where such individuals meet their demise. There shouldn't have been any comedic or quarrelsome plotlines at such a moment.
I strongly dislike it.
Hu Ba Yi and Sherry Yang arrived on that ghost ship. I was thinking, Hu Ba Yi, you didn't even check it properly and you directly concluded that it's a plague-infested cabin. In the second picture, don't even mention the fact that blood gushed out.
With the two ships so close and the storm raging, it's not easy to maintain stability. Gu Cai's skills are truly remarkable. Climbing that mast so quickly and steadily, and Ming Shu, with her broad knowledge, immediately recognized it as a blood-marked ship and knew how to drive it away.
I didn't expect Ming Shu to be so capable.
Ruan Hei really wanted to kick these two cowardly people off the ship right away, especially Da Li, who looks strong but is actually quite timid. Da Li: "I can't swim!
Haha, Ming Shu is really furious!
Didn't she tell them to set off the explosives? Where are the explosives? And you guys, be careful not to blow up the cabin.
Old Hu's decision is really unwise. With such strong winds, it's foolish to change course just for one person and make everyone on the ship suffer.
If this were actually at sea, you would be the main culprit. The captain's approach is commendable. This storm is at least a level 10 or higher.
Some may argue that Old Hu did it to ensure everyone on the ship stands united, but even so, he shouldn't be indifferent to saving lives.
Hu Ba Yi, also known as Wang Pangzi, was hired by Yang Xueli to search for his father in the ancient city of Jing Jue in Xinjiang (Red Ape, Strange Snake, Demon Tower, Fireflies, Enchanting Devil's Eye). However, they encountered the Red Eye Curse, and in order to break the curse, they traveled to Longling in Shaanxi (Spider Cave Labyrinth, Hanging Soul Ladder, Zhou-Tang Tomb) to obtain the Dragon Bone Scriptures.
They discovered the Mochizhu in the Xianwang Tomb in Yunnan (Insects, High Priest, Celestial Palace, Water Tomb Corpse Cave). Finally, in the Kunlun Divine Palace (Wolf King, Nine-story Demon Tower, Snow Maitreya, Evil Luo Sea City, Great Black Heaven Thunder Mountain), they used the Mochizhu in a reverse ritual to lift the curse, and Hu Ba Yi decided to retire and go to the United States.
During their journey, Hu Ba Yi recalled his experiences during his youth in rural Northeast China, including the Huangpizi Cemetery (Huangpizi, Cremation Furnace, Japanese Military Base, Corpse Offering), and he was entrusted to go to Nanhai Guixu (Ghost Ship, Guixu, Hatred Heaven, Mermaid Elder) to find the Qinwang Mirror.
However, they encountered the Duo Ling Gu curse, and in order to save Duo Ling, they needed an inner elixir. They sought guidance from Chen Xiazhi, who accompanied them to recall the story of Xieling and the theft of the Bottle Mountain Tomb (Wengcheng, Various Monsters, Yuan Dynasty Corpse King).
They fed the inner elixir to the Zhegu whistle, fought in Heishui City, and annihilated the Xianwang Tomb in Xieling. Later, Professor Sun deceived them by claiming that the Diexian Village (Black Sheep King, Mountain Observer, Nine Deaths Shocking Ling Armor, Diexian) had inner elixirs in order to eliminate the Diexian.
As a result, the three of them prepared their equipment to confront the Diexian.
The Wuxia Coffin Mountain adaptation seems to have made significant changes to the storyline. The Coffin Mountain itself is not a big issue, but the excessive number of tombs in this series is the main problem.
It's a sensitive topic. However, the ending in the South China Sea already changed the Corpse Dan to three Moksha flowers, and the black magic was modified to poisoning.
If they were to make a final installment, they would need to establish Professor Sun's identity properly.
The main theme would purely be about searching for the three Moksha flowers.
I've been watching "The Ghost Blowing Lamp" since I was young, and I truly appreciate how the three actors have brought the Iron Triangle in my mind to life! I believe they have captured every aspect of the characters perfectly, and I can't find any flaws!
Hu Ba Yi is a courageous and strategic military man, with both bravery and meticulousness, and a compassionate heart. Wang Pangzi is greedy and often makes mistakes, always cracking jokes at inappropriate times, but he always supports Hu Ba Yi wholeheartedly in crucial moments.
Yang Tiancai, as Shirley, is a genius with both literary and martial talents, aloof and proud. She always keenly perceives the essence of things, which is why she doesn't want to live a life of danger and sacrifice anymore.
They have witnessed the deaths of so many people on their journey, and she fears losing the most important companions in her life.
It is precisely because each character is three-dimensional and vivid, without rigid perfection, that they have their own shining points, as well as their flaws and indecisiveness.
That's why the image of the Tomb-raiding Trio resonates with so many people.
I hope the "Ghost Blowing Lamp" series lasts for a long time! Every year, I look forward to adventuring with the Tomb-raiding Team!
There will definitely be another season. The adaptation of "Nanhai" is setting the stage for the next season. First of all, in the original work, there wasn't as much emotional portrayal between Master Ruan Hei and his disciples.
But the drama has been emphasizing their master-disciple relationship. Before Ruan Hei's death, he entrusted them with a mission.
Secondly, Ruan Hei and his disciples saved the Iron Triangle twice. It was Wang Pangzi's attempt to snatch the bag from Ming Shu that directly led to Ruan Hei's death.
Wang Pangzi is clearly filled with guilt. And if it weren't for Ruan Hei retrieving the bag of Southern Pearls, they wouldn't have been able to activate the Jianmu, and the Iron Triangle would have been doomed in the Guixu.
Furthermore, Wang Pangzi wants to survive and pursue Duo Ling. He definitely has a reason to go. As for Yang Can and Hu Ba Yi, if it weren't for the bag of pearls and the password Gu Cai had memorized since childhood, they wouldn't have been able to escape the Guixu.
Even the encounter with the mermaid underwater would have been enough for Lao Hu and Wang Pangzi to drink a toast.
With such a huge debt of gratitude, even though it's not owed to Duo Ling specifically, it was Duo Ling who found the watch initially, and now it's changed to Gu Cai finding it and giving it to Duo Ling.
Gu Cai definitely wouldn't just stand by and watch her sister die. Plus, there's Ruan Hei's favor and his dying wish to entrust his disciples.
Lao Hu couldn't possibly ignore Duo Ling. It's a matter of life and death.
Lao Hu's reasons for going to Bashu are sufficient and justified. So he will definitely go to Bashu. Once he goes, it's normal to encounter various things when they venture into the deep mountains and forests to search for herbs.
Who can control whether they accidentally fall into some tomb while collecting herbs? So there will definitely be a next season, but it's uncertain whether it will be called "Wuxia Guanshan" or perhaps "Wuxia Adventure.
