Plot Synopsis

Xu Mu, the star strategist at Admart Advertising Agency, has just experienced her sixth failed blind date, but she has her own uniqueperspective: "Finding apartner is not like shopping forproducts at the supermarket - looking at superficial qualities is too shallow." Even as herparents frantically urge her to get married soon, Xu Mu still maintains her calm and unflustered demeanor.

While her romantic journey has been rocky, Xu Mu has achieved notable success in her career, thriving in her work. One day, during a critical clientpresentation, she unexpectedly reconnects with her high school classmate, Xie Shi. After all these years, Xie Shi has transformed into a forbidding and enigmatic client executive, and this sudden reunion feels like the gears of fate beginning to tuonce more.

More dramatically, a chance incident after a night of drinking leads to Xie Shi mysteriously becoming Xu Mu's "officially announced boyfriend" in her social circle. Now, Xu Mu's friends and family are showering them with congratulations, leaving her feeling both awkward and resigned. The two decide to just go with the flow, signing a contract to become "contractualpartners" and beginning their cohabitation.

At first, the two are so uncomfortable living together that you could cut the tension with a knife. But as the days go by, the initial awkwardness gradually dissipates, replaced by a subtle, budding affection. Unbeknownst to Xu Mu, there is a story of unrequited love hidden behind it all, like a well-aged fine wine, growing richer with eachpassing day.
