I only deduced half an hour before going live that the wrongful case of Bei Xiao Hai might be related to the arson case involving Liu Yun Xiao. Unexpectedly, it turned out to be true in this episode. Now, there are additional cases involving a caravan of 50 people, two yamen officials, and the eldest son of the Ji family. The caravan may be connected to Ying Bai Chi (who is a skilled supplier with good lightness skills), the yamen officials to Dai Meng Hui, and Ji Ming Zhao to the Ji family. If these four cases correspond to the four families, then Bei Xiao Hai should be the son of the Liu family, taking the blame for his brother and being framed for other crimes.
The root of everything lies in the financial exposure of the Tuoba family. The Liang family robbed the villagers (caravan), and Bei Xiao Hai, unwilling to be tainted, left the Liang family and was subsequently framed and expelled by them. This led to a case of mistaken identity by the Sanqi Sect. However, Bei Xiao Hai has a friend named Nan Xiao Tian, who has been investigating the matter and has swept through both the underworld and the righteous path. It is certain that he will eventually uncover the truth about the Sanqi Sect. The Sanqi Sect considers itself righteous and, in order to correct the wrong, wants to eliminate Nan Xiao Tian but also needs him as a role model. Liu Yun Xiao probably doesn't know the truth behind the entire incident, so he set fire to what he believed was the real culprit. In the end, the Sanqi Sect was also manipulated by the Liang family, resulting in the Sanqi Sect wanting to kill Liu Yun Xiao, and the Qingjing Sect also getting involved. The sect was wiped out, and they are now preparing to seek revenge against the Sanqi Sect. The other factions, of course, also want revenge. That's how things stand.
As for the Wang family's intelligence department, I'm not sure which faction it belongs to. I think it is quite formidable and may be affiliated with the current emperor.
Duan Shou being in the Liu family and Liu Jian's scheming against him is understandable. Duan Shou is probably in the Liu family because Liu Jian saved him back then.
His purpose is also to uncover the truth from that time. Lao Ding took a leave of absence, and 29 mentioned something big happening. They should both be part of the anti-37 Alliance.
Lao Ding's thirty thousand taels should be one-fifteenth of the total. It was a purchase for a position in the 37th Sect headquarters.
In a way, Meng San Xi and Ye Wu Zhi also have powerful external support. Meng San Xi is the Lord of Mu Yun City, and even though she claims not to recognize her senior brother, he may not actually refuse to acknowledge her as his junior.
Zhao Shishu, the city lord's guard, may not truly turn a blind eye if Ye Wu Zhi is in danger in the future and might lend a helping hand. Xie Cheng Huan, from the Xie family in Mu Feng City, is Ye Wu Zhi's "fiancé" and a former senior brother from the outer sect.
He is now collaborating with Ji Ming Zhao and might be aware of Ye Wu Zhi's situation.
I think the mastermind behind the whole thing is Liang San (the brothers from the Liang family seem more like spoiled playboys, unlikely to have such a deep scheming ability to set up this perfect scheme and even deceive the 37th Sect, leading to the wrongful accusation of Bei Xiao Hai).
Therefore, Liang Da (Ye Wu Zhi's senior brother) might know about this, so in order to protect his younger brother (or for similar reasons), he burned those 16 people. It seems to make sense, doesn't it?
For someone who hasn't watched Chinese dramas in years, this series has brought the characters to life, and each one is indispensable. I hope the same cast returns for every season, especially the female lead.
I absolutely adore Su Meng Di as Wu Zhi.
If we compare martial arts skills to academic qualifications, Meng San Xi, who possesses the tenth-best martial arts skill in the world, is actually the one who has truly struggled and climbed up among this group of people.
Tuoba Linghu has had talent since childhood, and his craftsmanship ensures he never goes hungry, so he has never been in such dire straits. Mo Ru Shi has been an inner disciple of the Qing Jing Sect since childhood and is a candidate for the next sect leader, so she could never experience such hardships.
Ji Ming Zhao, being born into a wealthy family, has never faced such difficulties either. That's why her ability to empathize with and understand those from the lower class is particularly commendable.
My Speculations (Don't take them too seriously):
1. Ji Mu mentioned that almost all the families were involved in the events of the past, suspecting it to be related to the Bei Xiao Hai case.
It's possible that the Liang family used manipulative methods to frame other families.
2. Lui San and Duan Shou, Lui San might have been involved in the planning.
3. Si's village was burned down, and Liang Lao Si carried valuable treasures with him.
It's unlikely that his family members were unaware of this, indicating that the Liang family might have had a significant role or helped in some way.
4. The Sanxi Sect is quite peculiar.
Based on the scenes, it disbanded shortly after San left. It gives the impression that the sect had some kind of status or identity.
