Episode 1: Yan Mo travels back two hundred years to obtain Gu Yan Zhi's blood.
In the year 2222, Yan Mo (played by Zong Yuan Yuan) is an actress who acquires a strange blood disease due to an accident. The only cure for her is a serum made from a special type of blood.
