Plot Synopsis
The mermaid Baorou sets foot on land in search of her family, only to be tricked and deceived by the master detective Gu Xinghe, who becomes herpartner in solving cases. The obsessive investigator crossespaths with the mermaid girl, and together they uncover a series of mysterious cases and a shocking conspiracy. However, they become victims of manipulation, and their extraordinary love story turns into a tragic tale of forbidden love, separated by the boundaries of life and death.
