At this time, Lord Cui had already informed the emperor that someone had seen Jiu'er being taken outside the city by Mei Kaishao and there were even suspicions that Mei Kaishao had kidnapped the princess. After hiding Jiu'er safely, Mei Kaishao stepped out alone to confront the black-clothed men, even though she had no martial arts skills.
