I really enjoy Fang Li's scenes. His lines are the essence, and Wang Sen's acting is exceptional. I love how Fang Li remains calm and composed, never in a hurry when facing situations.
He appears carefree on the surface, but in reality, he is serious and level-headed. He knows when to yield and when to assert himself. Wang Sen brings this character, Fang Li, to life. Every detail is perfectly executed.
When he is ruthless, he is quick, precise, and fierce. When he is angry, he resembles an angry bird. When he smiles, it's like a smile hiding a knife. He never shows mercy to enemies and those who deserve punishment.
When he is gentle, he is like a fluffy marshmallow. When he is sweet, it feels like being immersed in a honey jar. When he portrays moments of cruelty, it makes you feel heartbroken. That's where his acting shines the most.
Even though Fang Li is the antagonist, I don't harbor any hatred towards him, only admiration... Keep up the good work, Wang Sen. I believe in you.
Can someone like him, an undercover operative and underground worker, really take care of a child? Moreover, it's not even his own child, and the child is growing more and more distant from him.
The way he disregards the organization is unacceptable. He's too emotionally driven and doesn't seem suitable for underground work.
The child is becoming more adorable. Why doesn't Luo Bing listen to Chen Ke Hai and leave Shanghai? They could go to Yan'an! Luo Bing has already developed feelings for Chen Ke Hai. That's why he feels he can reveal his true identity to Luo Bing.
They could just take the child and leave together with Luo Bing's mother.
It's such a pity for Chen Yao. Isn't there any discerning talent scout who can appreciate her? Such a talented actress shouldn't be overlooked. Don't you have a guilty conscience?
By not allowing the audience to see more of her great performances, don't you feel like you owe something? I hope Yao Mei (Chen Yao) gets the opportunity to shine brightly.
May her talent be rewarded.
The male lead really lacks courage. Regardless of whether he had any grudges with Qiao San Min before, since he has now killed the old servant, why is he still thinking about seeking revenge? Does that mean if someone kills your father and mother, you would also be thinking about when to seek revenge?
I'm speechless.
There's nothing more annoying than Tian Liu, even in death, I don't feel sorry for him. Did the director intentionally create such an unlikeable character to bring down the ratings of this show? However, overall, this drama is still good.
All the other characters are great, except for Tian Liu.
Looking back, this character Huang Yi Feng is introduced with a lot of hype. They have influence in both the underworld and the legitimate world, and they are portrayed as a formidable character. However, after the initial introduction, they simply disappear.
If the screenwriter had invested a little more in this character, perhaps as Tian Liu's godmother, they could have played a beneficial role and prevented Tian Liu from meeting such a tragic end. Although this hypothetical comment may not have much meaning, I still wrote it.
Chen Ke Hai, in order to obtain that list, didn't hesitate to betray Fang Li. Honestly, even though Fang Li had Luo Bing surveilling him at his house, he treated Chen Ke Hai fairly well.
He genuinely saw him as a brother. It really saddens me to see Chen Ke Hai act this way! Even during the period of cooperation between the Nationalists and the Communists, it shouldn't have come to using such methods, right?
