The immortal realm is so weak, isn't it? The demon realm easily wiped out Da Ze Mountain with just a few people. Many aspects of the story feel underdeveloped, and the system of titles in the immortal realm is not properly explained.
The world-building is also incomplete, making it difficult to understand why the villains have so much power. If the purpose was just to enjoy the satisfying comeback later on, then the excessive destruction in the beginning was unnecessary.
It's more important to have a well-connected plot. Perhaps I'm too mature for this kind of drama at my age.
I think Gu Jin borrowed the umbrella from Hua Shu in the first place not because of personal feelings, but because Hua Shu mentioned wanting to save his father, which reminded him of his own experience.
Similarly, Gu Jin knew early on that Hua Shu deliberately refined the Concealing Sky Umbrella, but he also recognized that as a mere woman, Hua Shu had managed to support Bai Niao Island, which was no easy task.
This is also related to his own experience, and it's not just because Hua Shu didn't lie to him with that one statement.
I feel that Feng Yin's return and claiming to be A Yin was just a way to give the audience and Gu Jin some closure and consolation. In reality, Feng Yin's memories were embedded in a fraction of her immortal essence that resided in A Yin.
That's why A Yin has her imprints and memories. If A Yin was truly Feng Yin, she would have recognized Gu Jin as soon as she appeared. If A Yin is considered Feng Yin just because of a fraction of her immortal essence, then if the remaining nine fractions were attached to nine different people, there would be nine Feng Yins.
So, A Yin is just A Yin, not someone else. When she dies, she's truly gone.
