Plot Synopsis

The drama revolves around a highly intelligent but unsuccessful small-townpoliceman from the old society, who finds renewal and growth in the new China, teaming upwith an experienced veteran agent from the CommunistParty. The story begins with an explosion in 1943, where Lu Zhengyang, as a counterintelligence worker, recruits Lin Shaobai as hispartner in aperilous environment. The two work seamlessly together, successfully solving several major cases orchestrated by the spy Zheng Lanting, ultimately becoming steadfastpartners.

The small-town officer Lin Shaobai teams upwith the experienced Communist veteran to combat infiltrating spies,protecting national security andpublic safety. The drama features not only thrilling action scenes but alsoprofound explorations of human nature. The strong cast includes leading actors Chen Zhe Yuan, Nie Yuan, Xing Fei, and Yao An Na, along withpowerfulperformances from Wang Zhiwen and Ni Dahong, ensuring the quality of the series.
