Ye Shi Wu plans to blow up the power plant but is unsure where to place the explosives since Chief Engineer Rong hasn’t arrived yet. Lin Shao Bai is ordered to help, but he seizes the opportunity to escape with the car keys. Just as he starts the car, Ye Shi Wu and his men intercept him. In this episode, Wang Li Qun faces failure in a mission and admits his mistake. In Episode 9, Lu Zhengyang manages to get Lin Shaobai two tickets, but only on the condition that Lin can no longer be late. Lin readily agrees. Meanwhile, Wang Liqun goes to Xianyuemen and flirts with a dancer, but soon he is taken upstairs by Dai Yueqing's men. Dai Yueqing, a beautiful woman, accepts the money Wang brought but doesn’t mention any collaboration, treating it merely as a gift. Wang feels frustrated; he has given the money but Dai Yueqing has no intention of cooperating, and he is held at gunpoint. In Episode 11, after realizing his provocations didn’t break Lu Zhengyang, Wang Liqun lies down to sleep, refusing to talk further. Having witnessed Zhao Wangju’s brutal murder, he harbors a deep hatred for Wang Liqun. In Episode 22, private detective Lu Tingzhen admits to having bought a lot of photo paper, with the remaining two boxes charged to Master Qi at the Yaohua Photo Studio. Lu Zhengyang and Huzi rush to the photo studio, where Master Qi is busy developing photos. Lu Zhengyang asks the apprentice, Ah Xing, some questions and looks at the accounts.
