I remember when I was in college ten years ago, the distance from Yakeshi to Yantai was really far. It took a 24-hour train ride to Dalian, and then a ferry from Dalian to Yantai. I could never get a sleeper berth, so I spent many years sitting in hard seats for 24 hours.
It's something I dare not even think about now. I remember a classmate boarding the train at Shenyang station, and although we were in different carriages, she came to see me three times, and each time I was fast asleep. Ahaha! Then I went to find her and we ate, drank, and had fun, chatting with others.
Time didn't feel as slow then. I miss those times.
I remember when I went to college, it was quite far away, and my family was against it, so every time I went, I had to take a hard seat or a hard sleeper, and it would take around 38 hours to arrive. The journey was really boring, and sometimes I would glance at the scenery outside the window.
What touched me the most was one time when I had just arrived at the train station. I had a lot of luggage, and it was heavy. As I was walking up the stairs, I would take a few steps and then rest. Then, there was this big brother wearing glasses who came over to help me with my luggage.
At first, I was even afraid that he might be a bad person. We both held onto the handle of the suitcase, and together, we carried it to the bottom of the stairs. As soon as we put it down, he left. I didn't have a chance to properly thank him.
I just hurriedly said, "Thank you." If he could see this, I would really like to apologize for misunderstanding him at first and express my sincere gratitude. He made it easier for a college student like me. There are many people in life who need help, just like me.
It's because of kind-hearted people like him that the world becomes a better place.
Ma Kui, as an experienced working police officer, combined with his own past experiences, values Wang Xin's abilities more than anyone else. After becoming Wang Xin's mentor, through spending time together, I believe he sees his younger self in this new generation.
It is because of this that Ma Kui uses his personal experiences as an educational method to gradually shape Wang Xin into a competent police officer. From Ma Kui's perspective, he is a mentor who hopes to use this form of education to make his disciple excel and avoid repeating his own mistakes.
I believe this type of education is not only a mentor-disciple relationship but also a passing down of knowledge and skills. However, everything has two sides. With the changing times, Ma Kui and Wang Xin are inevitably from different generations.
Therefore, Ma Kui's educational approach undergoes certain changes. The mentor understands the disciple, and the disciple understands the mentor's good intentions. I apologize if my summary is a bit messy.
Lastly, I want to say that both of your acting performances are excellent.
