Plot Synopsis

According to the narrative, in Suzhou in 1941, the scion of a famous family, architect Gu Yi Zhong, who had studied in the US, was forced to get embroiled in aperilous situation due to his love, andplayed out a contest of wits and courage with Zhou Zhi Fei of thePuppet regime, growing continuously through the struggle.

Gu Yi Zhong, a member of theprominent Gu family from Suzhou, returned to China after completing his architecture studies at the University ofPennsylvania. After the outbreak of the war of resistance, he failed in an attempt to rescue his undergroundparty girlfriend, which led to the exposure of the entire Suzhou underground organization contactpoint. Gu Yi Zhong was mistakenly identified as a traitor within theparty due to a deliberate frame-upby the Japanese and theirpuppets. Unable toprove his innocence, heproactively infiltrated the Japanesepuppet regime, and after much difficulty, finally became an undercover agent for ourparty at the Suzhou special agent station.

Facing immensepressure, Gu Yi Zhong engaged in a battle of wits with Zhou Zhi Fei, the head of the Suzhou special agent station, and the Japanese advisor Jin Teng Li Nan, seizing the opportunity to uncover the realparty traitor "Hei Ba" and eliminate him. Gu Yi Zhong continuously gathered intelligence for ourparty in secret, rescuing comrades from theparty from danger on multiple occasions,providing tremendous support and assistance to the Suzhou underground organization's resistance and national salvation movement. He bravely forged ahead with unwavering faith, growing continuously through the struggle.
